Building Workshop
We've not met Ben and Rosemary, the husband and wife partnership that is the Building Workshop based in Scotland, yet we've become really good friends. They came to us via another client of ours (Davey Lighting) wanting to invest all their savings into a new website. No pressure then. We decided they needed a brand first and gave them a strong graphic identity of a house, with a texture that changed almost everytime you saw it, reflecting their individual, inspired approach to projects.
The website is horizontal scrolling - a first for us. This is due to the quirky washing line that has imagery hanging off it helping lead you through the site. This washing line reflects how they work, pinning images and sketches around the studio to show their thinking and journey, something we couldn't possibly ignore! See for yourself...
